I began practicing yoga as a beginner with Ananda five years ago. At the time I experienced frequent, severe migraines, back and neck pain and wrist pain which all resolved themselves within several months of attending Ananda’s classes. I have taken Ananda’s classes as a beginner, during pregnancy and after having practiced for some time and have always found her teaching to encourage me to both listen to my body and challenge my perceived limits. Ananda has a natural way of bringing together her own practice, her detailed anatomical knowledge and the philosophical ideas of yoga and utilising this combination to create themes in classes. I found practicing frequently with Ananda to be a very transformative experience and also appreciated her empathy and humour!
